I chose my handwriting for my wow because I have made all my letters touch the lines and I have taken my time.

I chose my report writing for my wow this week because in my paragraphs I kept to one topic without changing it

Do you know what snakes eat? Snakes eat lots of things in the world. They eat worms,insect,lizards and small mammals such as rats, birds and frogs. Some snakes may even just eat off other snakes like the Australian Bandy Bandy.

Snakes live in lots of different places. They can live in rocks,rivers,waters,grasslands,caves and holes. Desert snakes live under the sand.some snakes would also be seen in Asia,Europe,North America,Australia and south America. We are just lucky that there is none in New Zealand.

Do you know the difference between a poisonous snake and a non poisonous snake? Well non poisonous snakes have a round eye pupil.. It has no pit between the eye and the nostril. A Loral pit it a big round black thing. Poisonous snakes have cat eyes and a big Loral pit between their eye and nostril.

There are 1250 species of snakes known in the world .there are 450 poisonous snakes out of them all and 220 have killed people. Which means there are 580 snakes in the world that are not poisonous.

This week I chose my report of Rapunzels Rescue
I chose this because I put alot of effort in this piece of writing and it took me alot of editing and fixing up but I got it in the end

Rapunzel has been rescued from her tower in the forest by a young prince

The prince reported “I was riding through the forest and I heard a girl singing I saw that see was trapped in the tower and looked very sad and was crying. I looked at her and couldn’t resist so I rescued her immediately.

Rapunzel is now staying in the castle with her prince and has guards all around to keep her safe from the witch that we are still looking for.

I have chosen my Maths for my work of the week because I think that it’s a very good skill that I have used and learn’t this year and I think that it’s my good work because I learn’t it fast and understood it quickly 

What we were learning in Maths is using multiplcation to solve addition and subtraction problems

48+56+24+32

Well you fiqure out whats in 48 and theres 6×8 in 48
Then you fiqure out whats in 56 and theres 7×8 in 56
Then you fiqure out whats in 24 and thats 8×3 in 24
then you do the same to 32 which is 8×4 in 32
After doing that adding up you add the 4, 3,7 and 6
and they all equal up to 20 and so you do 20×8 as your multiplication problem to make it easier

This is my work of the week because I have a great start in this story and it gives the reader a good picture

Run!run run! dont stop keep going! my cousin was chasing after me. I have to stop I cant run anymore I could hardly breath.Aroha was chasing after me we were playing stuck in the mud at the Eltham pools. My aunty’s the life guard there we went nearly everyday.Ahhh! Aroha can you give me a chance PLEASE! I didn’t stop running I never gave up. I could hear Aroha puffing and slowing down and when I turned around she stopped feww I ducked my head under the water I
felt so cool and I could hear people laughing then I sat up and this time my cousin Mendoza was getting chased
 

It was a dark and windy night and me and my family were playing spotlight.It was the start of the game and I was hiding in the boot of the truck with my sisters.It was so cold my heart was beating faster than ever before my teeth woundn’t stop chattering they were so loud I could see the light coming closer my heart beating faster.At that moment I knew that I was going to be caught.Then all of a sudden all I could hear was an evil laugh as loud as a witch.Then boom that light was shining all over me.I couldn’t see anything.I stood up and pushed my cousin you gave me a fright you loser. After that my cousin wouldn’t stop teasing me but it was my turn now.Time for REVENGE

COLOUR POEM

This week in rm 1 we have been learning how to write poems and this is my poem it is also the my work of the week because:
Last week we started writing them and it was home work for the weekend too well in the weekend I tryed to finish it but it was getting to hard and after the weekend I still hadnt finished it but finally when Wednesday came I finished so basicly this is my work of the week because I never gave up on it I keeped on trying and it also has great rythem and great rhyming words

Thomas the tank engine train
lived in a drain
he moaned and moaned for grain
to help his Alien brain

He bathed in Alien blood
in a slimy tub
he lived with a blue bear cub
who used to live in sub

They ate bubble gum
that gave them swollen bums
they listened to blue bird hum
with a tune saying dum dum dum

They found some moldy bread
and some moldy butter spread
that they used to make their bed
they used the bread for their heads

This is my best work that i think i’ve done all week because its neat and i also think that its my best Handwriting that ive done this week.Not all the letters are the same but most of the letters are.

problem solving

How well I think I did in problem solving

Today I think that I listened but couldn’t get it because it was too confusing. The hard thing was using guess and check and trying to figure out the question with lots of different numbers

I think that I worked with others ok because we did think about the question but Casey was not involved much she didn’t understand what we were doing that she decided to work by herself and not with us we didn’t let every one have a say .I did ask them how they worked it out and they did explain to me but I didn’t quite get them.
